Happy Thanksgiving / Movember is almost over

I have decided to join a global movement that is bringing much needed attention to cancers that affect men. I’m doing this by growing a Moustache this Movember, the month formerly known as November. My commitment is to grow a moustache all November and I am hoping that you will support my efforts by making a donation. The funds raised go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LIVESTRONG).

What many people don’t know is that 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 18-35. Facts like these have convinced me I should get involved.

To make a donation, you can either:

• Click this link and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account , or
• Write a check payable to ‘Movember Foundation’, referencing my Registration Number 146237 and mailing it to: Movember Foundation, PO Box 2726, Venice, CA 90294-2726.

All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

The Prostate Cancer Foundation will use the money raised by Movember to fund research to find better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation will use the money raised by Movember to fund:

• The LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance program which has the goal of improving survival rates and quality of life for young adults with cancer between the ages of 15 and 40.
• Research initiatives to further understand the biology of adolescent and young adult cancers.

For more details on how the funds raised from previous campaigns have been used and the impact Movember is having please go to .

Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving from Bo and Dakine :)

On November 1st I was having a flatland session (as I always do) with only Dakine at the Target parking garage in what I call my home area, the South Bay. Apparently I slammed directly to my face without any assistance from my hands and was knocked out. Once awake I phoned a friend to find out what I was even doing and then I began to call all of my local friends because I couldnt figure out where I was! I couldnt even recognize my home streets but somehow I had packed up my bag, bike, and dog and was driving around trying to locate Torrance Medical. As I was driving I kept forgetting what I was doing so all I remember is I kept "waking up" and would be driving down the street! Really scary!!

Visiting Woodward West!

On October 4th I brought 2 friends, TJ and Stephen Schau, to visit Woodward West in Tehachapi, CA. ( I know these fellows from the great network that is Mammoth and I think they had a good time. It was to our unknowing joy to find Mark Webb on hand and ready to drop bombs as always. Check the video and photos.

New Mark Webb tailwhip trick! haha this guy rules!

Explaining to me how it works haha

The floor is sooo slippery, absolutely no leaning or turning sharply or you will die!!

Special thanks to Linnea for being so rad! :)

Interbike Week + Photo shoot at Lavs

Bobby Carter at Interbike

Richard Aguayo, Dakine, and myself made the trip to check out the famous Interbike trade show that hits Las Vegas the last week of September every year. This was my first trip to Interbike and I was very stoked! Lots of sick new parts and so many new colours for 2010!

While in Vegas, we joined Cameron White at TJ Lavin's house for a flatland session inside Lav's newly constructed "toy garage." Cam was out in the yard doing his thing and Bobby Carter joined Richard and myself for an afternoon session. My good friend Wes from Mammoth came to supervise and Jessica Blair showed up at the end for a few fotos.

My Summer in Ottawa Canada

While out travelling and doing demos with the GT Air Show Team this summer, I visited Mgnmx and her family in Ottawa Ontario Canada. Dakine and I had the most fun while in the capital city, who would have thought they would have amazing mexican food there? :)
